5th meeting of the ERAMCA project and Final Workshop

The 5th meeting of the ERAMCA project and Final Workshop were held at Turin Tashkent Polytechnic University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 7th to 11th January 2024. The meeting was accompanied by a working part and presentations by teachers and students of the established ERAMCA MSc course and organized expert visits to cultural heritage buildings. At the meeting itself, in addition to representatives of partner universities (Torino, Italy; Weimar, Germany; Osijek, Croatia; Khujand and Dushanbe, Tajikistan; Samarkand and Tashkent, Uzbekistan), Mr. Jamshid Inoyatkhodjaev (Rector of the University), Ms. Sara Noshadi (Head of the UNESCO Office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan), M.Sc. Alessandro Liamine (EU program manager of cooperation section), Ms. Aziza Abdurakhmanova (Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan), M.Sc. Botir Abdullayev (Director of the Directorate of Restoration of Cultural Heritage Objects, Art and Culture) and Mr. Tursunali Kuziev (Deputy Director of the Agency of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan). External stakeholders emphasized the importance and need for experts in the field of cultural heritage and praised the success of the project and emphasized the advantages of the ERASMUS+ programme. The main coordinator emphasized the importance of linking restoration and engineering, and Saidislomkhon Usmanov (coordinator at TTPU) emphasized the benefits for the community and students.
