Description:

In this Work Package a test “on-the-field” will be launched. In a first step at least one University of each Partner Countries will select a number of possible students (between 10 and 20) that will assist to theoretical lessons prepared in the framework of this project in the selected local Universities assisted by local trained teachers. In the new established Laboratories, they will have their practical lessons assisted by the local trained teachers and first contacts with the public and private institutions that will host them for training periods. The hosting Universities will accept the students without costs as a local contribution to the project and they will allow the access to all the theoretical and practical lessons.

Three semesters are included in the project development; the course will end after the deadline of the project with the training period and final work preparation that will take the fourth semester.

During all the period of lessons the project’s Partner will check the intermediate results achieved by the students by means of evaluation test of all the aspect of the planned Master.

UNESCO Office in Tashkent and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan (associated Partners) will assist the Pilot Course implementation by offering to the students real problems to be solved and the possibility to develop internships inside their structures and connected agencies. They will be invited in the evaluations of the students in all the practical activities.

Tasks:

Task 6.1 Selection of the students

The three Partner Countries involved in the project will start with the selection of possible students by considering their background, the achieved evaluations and by assessing the real interest of the students to join this experimentation. After the colloquia and the curricula evaluations, a list of possible admissible students will be provided. 5 teachers coming from the partner of the project will form the jury: the evaluations of the jury will be shared with the other partners to analyse the results and provide the final list of admissible students for each Country.

Task 6.2 Delivery of theoretical courses

The Master will start with the theoretical lessons inside the hosting Universities for each Country (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan) and the evaluation of the achieved results by using written tests. The tests will be prepared by the project’s partners according to the important contents with the aim to admit to the practices part the students with a sufficient knowledge of the theoretical aspects of the main disciplines. A sufficient time will be guaranteed to the students to study before the exams. After the analysis of the results of the tests, possible change in contents and goals could be suggested for future editions.

Task 6.3 Delivery of practical courses

Local trained teachers will manage the practical courses by following the organisation decided in previous Work Packages. The lessons will be developed inside the Laboratories and the students will be assisted to produce practical results on real cases that could be different Country by Country. The students will be invited to present the achieved results in a public seminar: the project’s partner will evaluate the students work. After the analysis of the results of the seminar, possible change in contents and goals could be suggested for future editions.
