Fundamentals of Earthquake Engineering From Source to Fragility

The book is cast in a framework with three key components, namely (i) earthquake causes and effects are traced from source to society, (ii) structural response under earthquake motion is characterised primarily by the varying and interrelated values of stiffness, strength and ductility and (iii) all structural response characteristics are presented on the material, section, member, sub‐assemblage and structural system levels.
